Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar is organising the training 'Analysis and visualization of EPC data and development of innovative energy service', which will be held as part of the TIMEPAC Academy on May 23 and 24 in Zagreb at Hotel Antunović and online.
The main goal of this training is to enhance the skills of energy certifiers, designers, and all stakeholders involved in the building renovation process to effectively collect, visualize, and utilize energy consumption data in buildings. Over the course of two days, participants will acquire knowledge on calibrating dynamic energy consumption models in buildings with real data, implementing and assessing energy efficiency measures, and integrating these measures into calibrated models, all through a real-life case study of an office building. Participants will also familiarize themselves with advanced tools for conducting dynamic simulations, such as EnergyPlus and Design Builder.
In addition to the aforementioned topics, participants will have the opportunity to learn about methods for collecting information from Building Information Models (BIM) and relatively new concepts such as Building Renovation Passports and transferring data from energy certificates to them. At the end of the training, the process of planning and assessing the effectiveness of energy efficiency measures will be demonstrated using an office building as an example. Emphasis will be placed on practical exercises. Upon completion of the training, each participant will have access to educational materials presented during the training, enabling them to apply their newly acquired knowledge in their professional activities.
