The first meeting of the GREET CE consortium was recently held in Velenj, Slovenia. The project consortium consists of eight partners from seven less developed regions in six Central and Southern European countries, who intensively started carrying out the planned activities. The first activity is mapping small and medium-sized enterprises within four thematic pilots: Regenerative farming, Renewable gases, Digital energy, and Eco-construction. The activity aims to identify innovative ideas/products/solutions of small and medium-sized enterprises that can apply for future EISMEA - I3 and similar EU funding instruments to strengthen regional innovation. EIHP is the leader of the thematic pilot Renewable gases. Renewable gases.
The Greet CE project aims to support and strengthen the innovation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the bio-economy sector and to strengthen regional capacities for inclusion in EU value chains. This will positively affect partners and local stakeholders of six Central European countries (Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania) and the most remote regions of Portugal.
