The training program for persons authorized to carry out energy inspections and energy certification of buildings was held on February 26 and 27, 2024, in Zagreb, on the premises of Ekonerg, organized by the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar.
The first day was intended for people from the architectural and construction profession authorized to carry out energy inspections and energy certification of buildings with a simple (MODULE 1) and complex technical system (MODULE 2), while the second day was intended for people from the mechanical and electrical engineering profession. EIHP researchers gave lectures: Toni Borković, B.Sc. ing. arch., and Ph.D. Marina Malinovec Puček, B.Sc. mechanical engineering.
This training program was dedicated to the upcoming amendment of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD Directive), whose primary goal is to increase the energy renovation rate of buildings to achieve climate neutrality in the building sector by 2050. As part of the Training Program, the European project EUB SuperHub (European Building Sustainability Performance and Energy Certification Hub ) was presented and its main results: one-stop-shop, a new generation of energy certification of buildings, a digital building diary and a selected system of a total of 21 indicators covering the field of energy efficiency, sustainability and smart technologies.
