PROJECT DESCRIPTION:<\/strong><\/h4>

The streamSAVE+ project (Streamlining Energy Savings Calculations in the EU Member States Plus) is an EU-funded initiative under the LIFE Programme. It aims to support Member States in enhancing energy efficiency through harmonized methodologies, addressing the challenges presented by the latest amendments to the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED). streamSAVE+ is a continuation of the successful streamSAVE project, focusing on implementing the latest provisions under Article 8 of the EED,<\/p>

This 3-year project, starting on July 1, 2024, is coordinated by SEVEn (Czech Republic) and involves 10 partners from 9 countries \u2013 Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Lithuania, Portugal, and Slovenia. It however has EU-wide ambitions, and will provide tools, guidance, and support for energy savings calculations and policy improvements across the Union.<\/p>

Key outputs of the project include:
\u2022 An expanded and improved online platform offering tools, case studies, and methodologies for streamlined energy savings calculations.
\u2022 Capacity-building support for public authorities, including workshops and peer-to-peer dialogues.
\u2022 Policy recommendations tailored to help Member States improve their energy efficiency reporting and compliance with EED obligations.<\/p>

Key performance indicators include:
\u2022 Developing bottom-up calculation methodologies for 5 new priority actions, building on the existing 10 priority action from the completed streamSAVE project.
\u2022 Engaging over 150 key stakeholder organizations across the EU.
\u2022 streamSAVE+ platform users from all 27 member states.
\u2022 Organizing 20 workshops and dialogue sessions.<\/p>
