On October 10, the representatives of EIHP - Daniel Golja<\/strong>, Jurica Brajkovi\u0107<\/strong>, Lea Leopoldovi\u0107 <\/strong>and Tomislav \u010cop<\/strong> - presented the results of the project \u201cStudy on Projections of Natural Gas Annual and Peak Demand in the Republic of Georgia\u201d through 2050. The Study gave insight into gas demand in Georgia through 2050, depending upon the policies implemented by the Georgian stakeholders. EIHP was a consultant to the United States Energy Association (USEA) that implemented the project, while the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) provided the funding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The importance of the Study for the Republic of Georgia was underlined by the impressive list of keynote speakers, including the First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia (MoESD); Director General of Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC); Director General of Georgian Gas Transportation Company (GGTC); Deputy Director, Economic Growth Office, United States Agency for International Development (USAID\/Georgia); Director General of the Georgian State Electrosystem; Chair of the Commission of Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
