The reasons may be various, and for concrete conclusions, it is necessary to wait for official analyses by the relevant system operators. Still, such events indicate that in the energy transition process, it is essential to invest significant funds in the electricity grid and the system management, emphasised Assoc. Prof. <strong>Goran Majstrovi\u0107<\/strong>, PhD, Head of the Transmission and Distribution Department at EIHP, in a comment for the Jutarnji list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"The energy transition in Europe is the biggest engineering undertaking in the history of the electric power system, and together with the complete deregulation of the electricity market, it does not only mean shutting down some power plants and starting others but a complete redesign of the power grid and the way the system is run. The power grid was initially designed for completely different needs, both on the production and consumption sides.
