The third Belgrade Energy Forum, BEF 2025<\/a>, took place on 14-15 May in the capital of Serbia and gathered 400 participants from more than 30 countries in the region and beyond. At the two-day conference organized by Balkan Green Energy News<\/a> eight panel discussions were held in which more than 50 government officials, managers and prominent energy experts participated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Energy Institute Hrvoje Po\u017ear acted as a \"Friend of the Conference\" at the conference, and the Director of the Institute Dra\u017een Jak\u0161i\u0107 <\/strong>acted as moderator of the panel entitled \"Strategies for the decarbonization of the electricity sector in Southeast Europe 2040\/2050\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A dynamic discussion brought together the region's key energy players to share insights on accelerating the transition to cleaner and more resilient energy systems. The panel was attended by Dejan Paravan<\/strong>, general manager of GEN Energija; Du\u0161an \u017divkovi\u0107<\/strong>, general Director of EPS; Eric Scotto<\/strong>, CEO of AKUO; Neda Lazendi\u0107<\/strong>, Country Manager of WV-International and Ljubi\u0161a \u0110urkovi\u0107<\/strong>, Technical Director of EPCG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
