Dra\u017een Jak\u0161i\u0107<\/strong>, Director of the Energy Institute Hrvoje Po\u017ear (EIHP), took part in the panel discussion \"Croatian Energy Sector Between the Market, Transition and Security\", held on Tuesday, 9 June, as part of the 15th conference \"Croatia's Energy Future\", traditionally organized by the business weekly Lider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel brought together leaders from key energy companies and institutions to discuss the most important issues shaping Croatia's energy sector. How energy secure are we today? To what extent are we dependent on external factors, and where are our greatest vulnerabilities? What are the main challenges facing the energy system? How can market realities be aligned with the objectives of the energy transition? And in which direction should the Croatian energy sector develop?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As highlighted during the discussion, Croatia has strengthened its position on Europe's energy map in recent years. However, the challenges have not disappeared - they are well known to us. This is precisely why the future requires thoughtful decision-making, cooperation among all stakeholders, a stable regulatory framework that encourages investment, and clear signals on what and where to invest. In this context, as emphasized by the Institute's Director, the public interest and professional expertise must come first.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
