Trust EPC third National Discussion Platform meeting

Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar, as national leader of Trust EPC activities in Croatia, held the third National Discussion Platform meeting in April in Zagreb. The purpose of this meeting was to bring together key stakeholders of the EPC market in Croatia and foster the dialogue and synergies amongst them. The participants included representatives from financing institutions, policy makers and EPC providers.
During this meeting two key results of the project were shown and discussed. First outcome to be shown was GREPCon tool aimed at standardization of energy efficiency measures and RES calculation. Second was National Roadmap aimed at identifying potential solutions to present barriers. Goal is to stimulate market development, mainly in private tertiary sector.
As expected, key stakeholders emphasized complexity of energy performance contracts, especially in standardization context, and agreed that proposed measures in Roadmap will have positive impact on the market.
