"Geothermal energy and heating systems - examples of best practice" is the presentation title by Hrvoje Dorotić, researcher from the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar, held as part of the project REDI4HEAT at the 3rd forum on district heating and cooling solutions - Heating 2023. The conference was held on September 14 and 15 in Osijek, organized by Energetika Marketing.
In his presentation, Dorotić showed the challenges of centralized heating systems related to integrating renewable energy sources and achieving the "energy efficient system" criteria. As a solution, the use of geothermal energy was offered, and it has long been known that Croatia is abundant with the source mentioned above.
