Within the research project financed by EU funds, "Development of an integrated solution for strategic long-term planning of climate and energy policy and creation of joint climate and energy plans" (DIS4CEPP), grant number KK.01.1.1.07.0038, headed by the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar (EIHP), trainings for PLEXOS and WINDPro tools were held.
The training for using the simulation-optimization tool for modeling the electricity market (PLEXOS) was held on July 6, 2023. It included advanced modelling of energy storage, advanced modelling of demand and merging of sectors.
The WindPRO education took place from June 19 to 23, and the education topic was using the WindPRO tool for simulating wind farms and determining wind potential.
