Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar (EIHP), Croatian Employers' Association (HUP), and Ministry of Economy (MINGO) are organizing the workshop "Energy efficiency obligations for companies in the Republic of Croatia" for companies and authorized persons to carry out energy audits for large companies to inform and prepare for upcoming energy efficiency obligations.
The workshop will be held on October 11, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on the premises of the EIHP—nZEB training center (Savska cesta 163, entrance on the right). It is organized as part of the LEAPto11 project (https://leapto11.eu/) and ENSMOV Plus (https://energysavingpolicies.eu/), which are co-financed by the EU LIFE program and implemented in Croatia by EIHP.
The workshop aims to present the upcoming obligations and requirements according to Article 11 of the Energy Efficiency Directive. The workshop will also provide guidelines for the procedure for exercising the right to reduce the fee for renewable energy sources and high-efficiency cogeneration in accordance with the Regulation on the criteria for paying a reduced fee for renewable energy sources and high-efficiency cogeneration (Official Gazette 31/2023), as well as guidelines for retaining the right, which is precisely based on the implementation of the energy review and the measures proposed by it. Companies will be presented with a system of energy efficiency obligations and the possibility of trading energy savings, which can be an additional incentive for implementing measures to improve energy efficiency.
Participation is possible in person and online through the MS Teams application.
Applications are open until October 10, 2024 (ie until the capacity of the hall is filled): APPLICATION LINK.
