In Marija Bistrica, the second cycle of Girls Code Camp 2026, an educational program for girls aged 12 to 15, now in its fourth year, will begin next week. In this year's program as a mentor, Dr. sc. Vlatka Kos Grabar Robina, senior researcher in the Department of Energy and Climate Planning at the Hrvoje Požar Energy Institute and finalist of the Engineer of the Year initiative.
The program is implemented as part of the international project SheCreatesChange (Empowering girls and women for innovations in urban mobility), jointly implemented by ERKON d.o.o. and the Entrepreneurial Center of the Krapina-Zagorje County, with support from the EIT Urban Mobility RIS Education Program.
This year's program places special emphasis on urban mobility, one of the key themes of the SheCreatesChange project and the EIT Urban Mobility initiative. Over five thematic days, the participants will explore the fields of technology, robotics, creativity, design, engineering, mathematics, entrepreneurship, and sustainability, and develop their own solutions for challenges related to mobility, environment, and quality of life in communities.
