SuPeRBE Project - Supporting Cross-scale Planning and Policy readiness for a Resilient Built Environment

Central Europe is experiencing climate change with increasing extreme weather events. Communities are affected by climate-related hazards that affect their ecosystems and the built environment. Project SuPeRBE assists local and regional authorities in their adaptation efforts.

The goal of the international project SuPeRBE, supported by the Interreg Central Europe Program, is to provide innovative and effective methods, tools and competencies for the application of high-performance measures for adaptation and risk management at different spatial levels: buildings, neighborhoods and communities, to integrate more systematic adaptation measures and inclusion local communities in increasing resistance to the risks of climate change in Central Europe.

SuPeRBE combines digital instruments, capacity building activities with a participatory approach and the strengthening of policy instruments into a unique, innovative, multi-level, integrated and synergistic approach of high impact, easily transferable to any Central European territory.

Total project budget:1,845,592 EUR, of which 80% was financed from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Project start: 01.06.2024.
Project end: 30.11.2026.
