Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development , in cooperation with the best Croatian experts, is organizing the first cycle of a five-day education on corporate sustainability. The trainings started on October 5, every Thursday, and will last until November 2. In the last two modules of this cycle, fourth and fifth, one of the lecturers is a researcher from EIHP, Maja Božičević Vrhovčak.
The fourth module takes place on October 26, 2023, and deals with the topic of the environment. Special attention will be directed towards the climate crisis and the strategy of transforming companies towards climate neutrality. The requirements of the EU taxonomy and the way of displaying data will be presented, along with examples from practice, as well as the requirements of the environmental chapter of the Croatian Sustainability Index.
The fifth module will be held on November 2, 2023, and will present the value chain due diligence process, emphasizing supply and value chain impact management models. Special emphasis will be placed on the measurement of GHG emissions in the value chain (Scope 3) and on the requirements of the Croatian Sustainability Index related to the value chain.
