A new project – GreetGEO, in which EIHP is the lead partner – has started with implementation. The project consortium, consisting of experienced experts, gathered at the end of last year at an introductory meeting held on the island of La Palma, Spain. The meeting was attended by the project team from the Institute: Matija Vajdić, Tomislav Đurić and Amra Sarunović, who introduced the partners to their roles, objectives, mission and vision of the project and the work packages.

This project aims to improve regional innovation ecosystems, especially small and medium-sized enterprises in particular less developed Central Europe (Pannonian Basin) and selected outermost regions (volcanic islands), by exploiting geothermal resources.
GreetGEO is funded by the EU instrument I3 in the amount of EUR 1,493,532.22 and runs from 1.11.2024 to 30.10.2026.
