Representatives of the Hrvoje Požar Energy Institute (EIHP) - Dražen Jakšić, Matija Vajdić, Vesna Bukarica, Sanja Živković, Srećko Tamburović and Lea Leopoldović are currently on a study trip and visit to the Kingdom of Norway, attended also by Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds Nataša Tramišak and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Zdenko Lucić. The purpose of the visit is to exchange experiences and discuss the results of programs financed under the Financial Mechanisms of the European Economic Area and the Kingdom of Norway for the period 2014-2021, as well as future priorities and areas of investment.
Within the mentioned mechanisms, the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds is implementing two programs worth a total of EUR 52.7 million, of which EUR 20 million relates to the Energy and Climate Change Program and EUR 32.7 million to the Local Development Program. and poverty reduction '.
Minister Tramišak emphasized that the implementation of the ‘Energy and Climate Change’ program represents a significant step forward at the Croatian national level in the energy sector, mainly because a large number of public and private stakeholders were given the opportunity to co-finance their project ideas. She also thanked the program partners from the Kingdom of Norway for their support in the preparation and implementation of the Program and pointed out the excellent cooperation with the program partner, Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar, adding that technical and professional support of the Institute is necessary regional and national level in Croatia.
