Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets is organizing the all-day conference "Green Future of the City 2.0", which will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in the Congress Hall of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure in Zagreb, Prisavlje 14 ("Kockica"). The conference aims to present topics related to the development of green infrastructure and circular management of space and buildings in the Republic of Croatia.
The conference is being held as a continuation of the "Green future of the city" conference from 2019. The all-day program will present current events and topics related to the development of green infrastructure, circular management of space and buildings, and other activities that the Ministry continuously implements in green urban renewal.
This primarily refers to the two invitations published during the past year: the Invitation "Development of green urban renewal strategies" and the Invitation "Pilot project for the development of green infrastructure and circular management of space and buildings," as well as the Methodology of planning green infrastructure, the development of typologies, standards, and criteria of green infrastructure, made in cooperation with the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar (EIHP). The Methodology of planning in cities and municipalities will be presented by Margareta Zidar from EIHP.

In addition, the Green Infrastructure Register, a new module that is currently being established in the Spatial Planning Information System (ISPU), and the Manual for the Implementation of Green Urban Renewal Strategies created in cooperation with the Ministry and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will be presented at the conference.
