The Croatian Energy Society (HED) successfully held its 33rd Forum on the topic “Energy Trilemmas in the Framework of the Accelerated European Transition – Ensuring a Balance between Security of Energy Supply, Sustainability and Competitiveness” on Monday, 3 December 2024, at the premises of the Hrvatska elektroprivreda, in Zagreb.
The Forum traditionally brought together prominent experts, industry representatives and key stakeholders from the energy sector, and experts from EIHP also actively participated. Robert Fabek, Head of the Department for Energy and Climate Planning, gave a lecture entitled “Security, Sustainability and Competitiveness of the Energy System of the Republic of Croatia”, while Head of the Department for Energy Production and Markets Dražen Balić, as Secretary General of HED, moderated a roundtable on the topic of the Forum.
The aim was to stimulate discussion, exchange ideas, and promote progress in the field of green transition in the Croatian energy sector. Forum participants had the opportunity to hear interesting lectures, participate in discussions, and establish new and strengthen existing business relationships.
