The third interregional meeting of partners on the REHEATEAST project was held in Serbia, in Kragujevac, on March 5 and 6, 2025.
The first day brought significant discussions on cooperation and optimization models, with a special focus on transnational working groups examining financing mechanisms and impact analysis. Partners actively participated in exchanging opinions on the implementation of pilot projects, shared their achievements so far, and coordinated the next steps. The session on communication and dissemination highlighted visibility strategies and upcoming thematic tasks. One of the highlights of the day was a visit to Energetika Kragujevac, where participants were introduced to the waste heat utilization project. Visits to the pumping station, boiler room, control center, and exhibition space provided valuable insights into energy efficiency innovations in the region.
The second day was dedicated to the first annual meeting where project partners reported on the achieved results. Discussions covered the overall progress of project implementation, and the current status of specific objectives, including the presentation of pilot projects and a financial overview.
The event successfully strengthened cooperation, presented key results, and set a clear direction for the next phase of the project.
