As part of the Business Development and Innovation Croatia program, financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, on September 1, 2021, the project "Prediction of wind power production" began, and will last for two years. The project holder is Sedam IT, and the partner is the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar.
The goal of this project is to develop a solution for better forecasting of wind farm production, adapted to the local wind climate, to reduce operating costs for balancing the power system. Machine learning models will be used to process large amounts of data. The partners will jointly tackle the mentioned challenges to offer a value-added solution with innovative products and services. The expertise that the partners possess makes them ideal collaborators because they complement and complete the necessary knowledge for the development of solutions.
