One of the critical points in the green transition and the use of new green technologies is education, pointed out Vesna Bukarica, head of the Energy Efficiency Department at EIHP, at the panel "From ideas to implementation: scaling up innovative technologies for green transition", which was held during the second day of the Startup Europe Regatte, on Thursday, October 5, 2023, in the cellars of Diocletian's Palace, in Split.
When asked what prevents the widespread application of solutions to improve energy efficiency in buildings, Bukarica noted that the easiest answer is that there is no money. However, as she pointed out, even mature technologies are hindered mainly by a lack of awareness and knowledge. "We need education, awareness raising among experts and integration of all available solutions for the future", said Bukarica from a very inspiring panel where nZEB training was highlighted.
Under the moderatorship of Stephanie E. Trpkov (CEO Agrodox), Dame Dimitrovski (professor), Filip Olujić (CEO DataBox), and Robert Bruckner (Trace Capital Investments) also participated in the panel, from whom exciting insights into the topic could be heard.
