Zadar General Hospital organized a public consultation for the business community and health institutions, which took place as part of the "Solar Power Plant Zadar General Hospital" project, on Friday, May 19, 2023, in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the Zadar County Chamber. Fourteen representatives of companies and public institutions participated in the consultation.
The mentioned event is a mandatory project activity with the aim of promoting renewable energy sources financed by grants from the EEA Financial Mechanism and encouraging local business and health entities to use solar energy.
Project manager Ines Stipčević presented the project "Solar power plant Zadar General Hospital," future results, and activities carried out.
Green Green Advisory was contracted to manage the project as an external company. Their representative, Jakov Kolega, referred to the activities necessary for applying and creating a high-quality project proposal that can be used to apply for future calls for co-financing of energy efficiency.
The representative of the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar, Srećko Tamburović predstavio je Financijski mehanizam Europskog gospodarskog prostora i Norveški financijski mehanizam iz kojeg se financira projekt „Solarna elektrana Opća bolnica Zadar“.
Also, the importance of effectively managing energy consumption as a measure of energy efficiency for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving sustainable energy supply was highlighted.
