EIHP is organizing a workshop within the TIMEPAC project on energy certificates for buildings of the future, which will be held online via MS Teams on November 8, 2023, starting at 9 a.m.
In today's era of rising energy prices, increasing production from renewable energy sources, increasing energy efficiency and further digitization of energy, the building industry is becoming increasingly important in the overall energy picture of the European Union. The building's energy certificate is designed as a tool for providing information to real estate buyers to promote efficient buildings. Through the TIMEPAC project, additional analyses were developed on pilot buildings to expand the building's energy certificate. The desire is to improve the energy certificate to be used for additional functionalities.
The analyses that will be presented at the workshop include calibration to actual consumption according to bills, readiness of buildings for smart technologies, indicators of sustainability and quality of stay in the building. The goal of the workshop is to get the opinion of the participants on the usefulness and comprehensibility of individual segments of the analysis.
The workshop is intended for representatives of co-owners and building maintainers, but everyone interested in the topic is welcome.
