The largest development project in Croatia in the field of information and communication solutions aimed at improving citizens' quality of life Centar kompetencija za pametne gradove (CEKOM) - has come to an end. The successful completion of the three-year project will be celebrated on Monday, February 27, 2023, starting at 10 a.m., at the Croatian Cultural Center in Sušak. The event is organized by the project coordinator, company Smart RI.
CEKOM is the result of the joint application and elaboration of six research and development projects by 20 partners based on the call Support for developing competence centers within the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020. Competence centers focus on industry-driven development and industrial research and their commercialization within specific thematic areas and branches of competence. They are connected to one or more thematic priority areas and/or cross-sectoral topics recognized within the Smart Specialization Strategy.
The project's final conference will present the joint results of all 20 partners, focusing on output indicators. Considering that the project tried to solve the challenges faced by every city, the conference program is divided into sub-projects created within CEKOM for smart cities.
