A workshop - PSS®E Power Flow and Steady State Analysis - was held at the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar (EIHP) in which researchers from the Department for Energy Transmission and Distribution participated. The training was held in two weeks: from January 23 to 26 and from February 27 to March 2, 2023, and the lectures were given by Tarik Donlagić, an expert in integrating renewable energy sources and transmission system planning at Siemens.
The training for the use of the simulation environment for the development of models of transmission and distribution networks covered the following thematic areas: steady-state analysis, an overview of dynamic analyses, problems and tools for dynamic analyses. In the first week, EIHP experts analyzed the stationary state of the electric power network, and in the second week, advanced dynamic analyzes of the network.
The workshop was held as part of the EU-funded research project "Development of an integrated solution for long-term strategic planning of climate and energy policy and creation of joint climate and energy plans," grant number KK.01.1.1.07.0038, headed by EIHP.
